Minneapolis Woman Offers Reward to Anyone Capable of Finding Actual Grass in Yard
My yard is an embarassment. After a particularly grisly lawn-mowing (a.k.a. dirt-patch-and-weed-mowing) experience last week, I am more convinced than ever that I have to cover the entire thing in perennials and forget about growing grass forever. Do any of you kind readers have perennials you can split for me this fall? I'll take anything I can get my hands on. Beggers can't be choosers, and I'm not particularly picky anyway.

I've seen some really lovely shade yards full of hostas, ferns and larger sized rocks. No mowing required!
If you want to make the trip, I have about 40,000 pounds of hosta I am willing to part with!
40,000 pounds of "hosta," hmmm? Is that what we are calling those leafy greens?
Color me interested.
LOL G!
Come on down. The greens are in the yard (ALL over the yard) and won't get a second look from a cop.
The last people to own this house spent 30 years planting hosta. It is every where, with a few day lilies thrown in because they ran out of hosta in year 28. Deep sigh...
