Cuddle-fest Renews Suspicion That Kitty Knocked Up
The Wiz always loves a good belly rub. She crawled on my lap while I was composing an email to MIL just now, so I gave her a good rub-down. Maybe I'm just freaking myself out, but I swear there are some little lumps in her belly. How many more days do I need to wait to feel safe that no kitties will happen? I've pinned the date of conception--if any--at August 27. Ugh, I hate this.

I bet The Wiz will have some of the cutest little baby kitties of all time!
About the only help I can be in this situation is to pass along the info that a friend of mine is a vet and the most knowledgeable person I know when it comes to animals. ethel@livejournal.com

63-65 days after Aug 27... which would be a few days ago, SOOO you may be safe. Unless The Wiz is a Siameese or however you spell it cat, then it is 67 days, which would be 2 days ago, so again, safe. However, I did read that "rectal temperature drops below 100.0 degrees in the 24 hours before delivery (normal temperature is 100.5-101.0 degrees). So, if you want to be extra sure...... hehe!
